You got Twitter wrong.
In the last 7 days, I have been working hard.
Analyzing the top-tier creators
Writing my tweets in different ways
Reading resources about storytelling
In short, I learned a lot about content creation.
And that’s what I want to teach you.
Like a grandpa spilling every secret to his little son.
Today we gonna talk Content strategy.
Ready?
Let’s start with an overview:
I assume you already at least the basics.
Value tweet
Personality tweet
Here we’re gonna deep dive into it.
So deep that you’ll not be able to think that this is just a content strategy.
Most of you struggle with writing tweets that get you known and loved.
To be honest I’m in that case too.
But I struggle less.
Because I have a strategy.
And it look like that:
1. Outstanding Value
The goal is to give value but not like everyone. Also, give dopamine. Make people feel like “he both educates and entertain, I like that guy more than the others”
Here you have:
→ Funny/Good tip: It works like entertainment unless you give value.
You can slip a joke, a meme, a memory.
It just needs to be short, a bit funny, and maybe trending.
Make them think “Haha, I like this guy, he’s so smart”
*Smart: Make boring things funny to learn.
→ Structured tip: Aim for something clean.
You can choose whatever structure you want but stay clean. Also, slip funny words here and there. Or you can change the vibes of the tweet. And finally, write ironic stuff.
Make them think “Wow, I love how he wrote it, it changes from the others”
→ Relatable/Personal tip: I just added it a few days ago unlike the above.
So everything I can say is that when the first 2 become repetitive or you want to include something else, use it. The idea is to evocate stuff that calls out people.
And make them think “yeah, he’s so right”, or “How couldn’t I see it, it’s so obvious.
Pro tip: You can make the entire tweet fun and only the lesson
2. Evolution
→ Milestone: What you achieved.
The milestone tweet is simple.
It’s a diary of all your wins. You got a 16/20? write a tweet. You crossed 500 followers? write a tweet.
It’s useful when you want to gather people and get more engagement because people love engaging with winning posts.
→ Transformations: You from A to B + bridge.
I’m sure you have seen one of this post.
“May: X
Jun: Y
What’s the lesson there?.”
Blablabla.
I don’t ask you to do the same. In fact you can but not everytime because then it’s boring.
Instead make smarter post like:
“3 years ago I couldnt write 3 lines about anything and felt bad.
Today?
I write 10 pages and haven’t been happier.
I was like you.
I just started writing before you do.”
See the difference?
Both are transformation tweets.
→ Stories: A memory or a normal situation. Let the reader know more about you.
You know this one extremely well.
You see stories about people everywhere.
Now let me make it clear for you.
If you “don’t know” how to tell stories, just start writing and do as if you’re trying to make kids fall asleep, trust me it works very well.
And if you struggle with them. II have good storyteller for you:
@Sam ocean
@Supersimpledude
@Aidan
@Marcel
These are a few examples.
→ Vulnerabilities: Show the reader you’re human. Create relatability.
That’s the simplest one yet misunderstood…
You don’t need to do X transformation or follow 54 steps.
Take a pen, a notebook, and talk about something you’re:
Not proud of
regret
failed
And most important, leave a lesson at the end.
That’s what makes it a good tweet, there is improvement behind.
And you want to get known for that, right?
3. Entertainment
→ Thought - Opinions: Show your vision. Be open-minded.
Let’s be short.
Simply talk about your pereption of the world;
What’s going wrong
What you want to change
How it’s n your side
People love to relate with others’ vision.
And if they don’t they’ll comment anyway.
Why? It goes against their nature to no thsow their dominance.
You just need to write them well (but we’ll let that for another email).
→ Documentation: Your insta but on twitter.
Yeah you read that right.
Just play the insta game.
Share a picture
Explain what you’re doing
Not hard, just practice and do interestign things.
→ Jokes
And yeah…
Above all you also need ot be funny, throw some jokes.
Isn’t the funny guy who make the class laught?
Excatly.
And you don’t need to insult people and call them out like others.
You can joke about:
Things you’re doing.
Sh!ts that happened.
Funny facts.
Just say originalor you’ll get boring.
I guess I covered it all for today’s email.
With that you’re ready to grow your brand to the sky lmao.
Anyways…
Thank youf or your reading.
I think you already follow me on Twitter if you are here, so I’ll just advice you to come back in 7 days…
I wanna share some sauce with you
