I never understood why people got more engagement than me.

That’s a fact.

I guess was born with the wrong genetics.

But there was something even crazier.

No matter how long it has been…

If they RTed a post I’d be fool enough to reply to it as if they posted it this morning.

While I couldn’t watch my content on my eyes right after posting it.

So again, I dug.

And dug.

My findings?

Nothing.

Until I came across this tree:

There were no leaves.

But he kept standing up.

While all the others seemed to be fighting for a bit of my attention behind.

I didn’t know about this tree before.

But you know what’s even crazier?

I didn’t care about the others behind.

And this ladies and gents…

Is your competition.

A bunch of trees that wanted to grow as fast as possible.

Now we forgot them.

The lesson here is simple.

Content creation isn’t the run of who will get the most engagement in 20 minutes.

A lot of people tried.

And these same people failed.

Nah - it’s a marathon.

The main tree didn’t hop from trend to trend.

Hella no.

He has set his roots and grew steady.

Same for you.

Share your stories, build in public, share your wins.

Anything that’ll last.

And ask yourself the right question.

• How many people will I impact?

• How can I make it eternal?

• How long will my content last?

And slow but steady, win the race.
